Getting the Raw Email Code

Raw source gives the strongest technical readout. Use these quick steps to capture the message exactly as received before running the analyzer.

Copy Original Message

  1. 1. Open the email you want to analyze.
  2. 2. Click the three-dot menu and choose Show original.
  3. 3. Select Copy to clipboard and paste it into the analyzer.

Outlook

Copy Internet Headers

  1. 1. Open the email and select File → Properties.
  2. 2. Copy the text from the Internet headers box.
  3. 3. Paste the copied text into the analyzer.

Use Raw Source When You Can

The full message preserves routing, authentication, filtering, and unsubscribe details that HTML alone cannot provide.
